If you’re finding that you’re struggling to keep up with a group or simply want to go faster, especially when the river is flowing faster, why not partner up with someone and try using one of our K2s?
Paddling a K2 is also great for gaining confidence if you paddle with a more experienced paddler. You can also copy their technique (if in the back). You always have someone to help you portage and have someone with you in an emergency. An added bonus is that only 1V bar is needed if you’re paddling elsewhere.
We have 4 K2s with various stability ratings. The Roqual has a super stable rating of 10 with the Mystere about 8 (same as a Viper 55), the Viper K2 is about a stability 7 and the faster Mirage has a stability of 5 – something for everyone.
If you haven’t paddled a K2 before, the club regularly puts on ‘try a K2’ sessions which are highly recommended.
