If you’re paddling with someone else and one of you falls in, follow the same procedure as a self-rescue, but this time your fellow paddler can help you get to the bank, especially useful if it’s a bit far to swim.
Once the capsized boat has been righted, the rescuer holds on to the cockpit whilst the paddler in the water moves to the front of the rescuer’s boat and holds on. Best to keep your head to one side of the bow to prevent hitting the bank!
The rescuer can then use a heel hook to paddle both boats to the shore. The capsized boat can then be emptied as we’ve already described.

And this one shows helping the paddler to the shore.
You can combine both.
